Hong Kong Villa

DETAILS
The villa, owned by an important Hong Kong personality, develops on 4 floors – from the basement to the third floor. The division of spaces was well defined from the very beginning and the Owner heartily wished to maintain it, by reason of his strong bond with oriental culture that guided the entire design.

Entrance area

The entrance of this prestigious villa makes one immediately under stand what will be in the rest of the house: classical and neoclassical elements, rich details, nearly maniacal search for symmetry. An attentive eye is able to see references to oriental style, never renounced by the Owner. Did you get where?

The living room

This superb living room embraces everything that this area of the house can and should communicate: warmth and coziness at first, with a fireplace that actually creates a conversation area where the owners can entertain the guests. Then style, immediately acknowledgeable in this finely and richly adorned space. Discreet oriental recalls are also present.

3/ 10

The bar

This is an area for which the keyword is relax: the main character is wood, with a paneling that makes the wide conversation area warm and welcoming; anything present has been meticulously chosen to convey a feeling of total comfort

4/ 10

The dining area

The formal dining room has a geometric decoration creating a strong visual impact. Walls are paneled with a lacquered boiserie and contrasting frames. The upper portion of the walls is covered with wallpaper with a classical-style motif that completes the interiors. The dining table with an imponent base and the majestic chandelier give an additional colour contrast

5/ 10

The office

The interior decoration of this office wishes to “communicate”: this is the Owner’s intent. The room has a masculine style and the preciseness in the division of the spaces, as well as the neatness of the shapes, denote severity. The wood finish, used for the entire paneling including the ceiling, is a precise choice giving further character to this study.

6/ 10

Meeting room

No doubt that this villa is the home of a very busy and important businessman who, when needed, must have the possibilità to organize formal meetings at home. For this reason a refined meeting room has been fit out: here privacy is ensured, without leaving comfort aside.

7/ 10

The relax room

Colours are those of the oriental style, but taste is definitely an European one: there is a combination of different worlds in this intimate and finely decorated sitting room: we can find refined upholstered panels, soft lights and comfortable sofas where guests can have a chat. Worth noticing is the ceiling with delicate carvings in a very neutral tone, to soften the vibrant colours of the rest of the room

8/ 10

The cinema

Strong contrasts of colours have been used in the decoration of the cinema room: touches of vivid red communicate energy. Furnishings are all at the service of the various hi-tech elements that are present in the room. Sound diffusers, amplifiers and smart-adjustable digital readers are, in fact, housed in the furniture and perfectly concealed.

9/ 10

Guest's bedroom

The selected colours are sober, but the final sensation is that of opulence: the decoration plays with the use of gold leaf for carvings, capitals, for the windows trimming and for some loose furniture. The wood floor - hand-crafted by master artisans - with its special twining pattern, contributes to the refinement of the room

Daughter’s bedroom

The daughter’s bedroom has a very classical style, with a beautiful contrasting colour that highlights details like pilasters, draperies and a special headboard – upholstered with a precious and soft velvet. Walls are decorated with a wallpaper recalling the contrasting colour used for the details, but with a more measured tone.
